We took a really quick visit to the beach in January. Trent tested with Tillamook Paramedic and needed to be in town early. He didn't get the job, but we still had a great weekend. We had beautiful weather for walks on the beach, which Henry loved...especially the sand.

A big 20lb boy!!! Henry loved the pumpkin patch. All he wanted to do is eat the pumpkins. But when I bought him one and roasted it-he hated it. haha! I don't blame him, it didn't taste that great. Oh well not a pumpkin man, but he is a squash man. He loves loves loves any kind of squash.

Part two of our vacation was spent at the Ranch in Joseph. We were so happy that we were able to go this year for Henry's first visit. I think Henry was made for ranch life, he was so happy there...especially in the water.

Trent finally finished school at the end of august, so we took a couple weeks of a much needed vacation. We went to the beach...again. Trent went surfing a couple times with his cousins, Johnnie and Chase. Lots of fun. We also had a huge garage sale for a few days and did awesome thanks to Nanci (trents mom).
Henry loves the ladies. While the boys were out surfing, us ladies (plus henry) hung out on the beach. It was a beautiful day.
Despite the water being freezing, Henry loved it and wanted to be in it all day. Crazy baby.

Henry went through a spitting, blowing bubble, talking stage for a couple weeks. He would sit and talk with trent for like 5 minutes. Now he is on to a different kind of talking. I will have to get that one before he changes again.

A weekend at the Beach

We got to take Henry to the Beach this last weekend for the first time. We were very lucky to have 2 beautiful days of going to the beach and relaxing. Henry isn't a big fan of the wind so that was a challenge, but it soon calmed down and he loved looking around and feeling the sand.

Here are a couple more photos of my little man. He is 1 Month Old. Wow! A week ago he weighed in at a little over 9lbs. He has gotten so big, he is already in his 3 month clothes. During awake time he loves looking at our face and especially lights. He is lots of work, but we are loving every minute of it. Such a cute little guy.

Henry Michael Morgan is here. Well he came about 2 weeks ago. I am finally feeling better to actually care about pictures and letting the world know we had him. I was due March 3rd, water broke March 4th and he was born March 5th. After climbing tons of stairs on friday the 4th I was sitting on the couch eating my yummy dinner when my water broke. It was a total surprise even though I had been having minor contractions all day. After my water broke contractions came on really strong and we were at the hospital 3 hours later. I walked around, got in the bath and labored as long as I could and I was advancing really well (1-2cm an hour). At about 8cm I finally gave in and got an epidural. I advanced at the same rate, but this little guy did not want to drop which prolonged the labor by 2-4 hours. I pushed for 2 hours with Trent catching him at 6:30 am on Saturday March 5th . It was the hardest thing ever, but I got the best thing out of it. I love my little man.

40 Weeks!

Well I have already had the little guy, but I didn't get the chance to put up a pic of my huge belly before he popped out. This was taken the day before my water broke. The last month of pregnancy is indeed the hardest. I got huge and puffy everywhere. It was hard to sleep, walk, sit...well do everything. So glad it's over.

Trent took these photos after my awesome baby shower a couple weeks ago. I was about 34 weeks here. The moms ( my mom and trent's) through me the best baby shower. There was yummy soup and cake, fun games, and lots of presents for my little man. Thank you everyone who came and thought of me and mr. baby.

We had another appointment today. Now I go every two weeks, which is kind of annoying but also might make the time go by fast. I am 32 weeks and 4 days today, which means only about 8 more weeks to go. I am measuring a little small, but mr. baby is still growing. The midwife predicts he will be around 7 pounds when born. Perfect!!!

We spent New Years at the beach with Trent's family (most of them). Surprisingly it was very nice, blue skies and sunshine, but very cold. We spent time walking and playing on the beach, watching movies and eating lots of yummy food.

We had another ultrasound yesterday to check to see how things are going. Everything is good and he is right on track with growth. We didn't get a face shot, he was being shy and hiding. The first are his little feet and the second is him waving his cute little hand. So cute!!!!!

Here is my growing belly. I feel like I am getting bigger each week. I think there is no way I could get bigger, but I know I still have 3 more months of a growing baby. I just hit the 27 weeks mark, but these pics were around the 26 mark (thats about 6 months).

Thanksgiving

This is how horrible I am...I only took 2 pictures of Thanksgiving. These are the only physical memories we will have of Thanksgiving 2010. So sad. Well, Trent and I made our way up to Gresham to spend the holiday weekend with family and friends. We celebrated Thanksgiving day with my mom and sister with a yummy Turkey dinner and dessert. We made our way to Trent's moms house later for another dessert that same night. We were all in a sugar coma, but it was delicious. We spent the rest of the weekend shopping and visiting with friends and family. Sunday was Thanksgiving dinner number 2 at Trent's moms house with his family. Again a very yummy dinner and fun time with family. Hopefully, next year I will do better with pictures. Hope you all had a wonderful and yummy weekend.

Pumpkins and Bellies

A couple weeks ago Trent and I went to the pumpkin patch. I can't believe this is our second Halloween in Salem, and our last. Although we got a few pumpkins we never ended up carving them. I guess we got too busy...well trent did. Trent is in Paramedic school full time now. He is loving it, but it is hard work. Long days at school and the hospital and nights of studying. I am no longer working, haven't been for a month or so. My last job ended in September and now no one wants to hire a pregnant girl. So my days are spent taking long morning walks and at home cleaning, cooking and doing crafts (kind of boring). Baby is doing great, moving alot and getting big. I am currently 23 weeks, but these pictures were taken at 21 weeks.

Leanna Banana

Way back in the beginning of September Trent and I took a mini road trip to Utah for a couple of weddings. We stayed with our friends Mandy and Mike, who just had baby, Leanna. We had so much fun seeing family at my cousin Macy's wedding. It was the first time for Trent to meet most of my family (dad's side) which was exciting. We also were able to meet up with some of Trent's mission friends, who spent the whole night reminiscing and laughing about the good old days in Portugal.

My belly is growing. Seems like it is getting bigger everyday. I am at 17 weeks now, feeling a lot better, and have so much more energy. We find out in 3 weeks what the sex of the baby is. As long as the baby is healthy we will be happy with either boy or girl.

Trent's Graduation

Trent graduated from the Fire Program this past saturday. He also was nominated as CAPTAIN of the year. Thats my man!!!! Trent's mom and sisters, my mom, sister, and grandparents came down and wore t-shirts for Trent. Now that he is done with Fire Fighting it is on to Paramedics, which starts at the end of Sept.

We are PREGNANT!!! Yay for us. We are so excited to be having a baby. I am around 11 weeks this week and starting to feel better everyday (knock on wood). Last week we went and got our first ultrasound, which was so cool because we saw her ( yes until we know for sure- it is a HER because that is what I think it is) moving around and everything. She moved her legs and head. It was awesome. We think we are due around March 3rd- we will have a better idea at our next ultrasound. I will keep you updated on our little baby's progress.

We got a kitty cat. I found her at work crying outside. All her brothers and sisters got eaten by a raccoon. So sad. So I had to bring her home. Her name is Tennessee ( or CC for short). She was so shy when I first brought her home, now she is a terror. She attacks our feet when we walk, bites our fingers, bounce attacks us when we are laying on the couch, always drinks out of our water glass, and wants to eat everything that we are eating. Basically she is a 2 year old. Hopefully it is a phase.

It has been hot so we made our way down to the river. It's nice to cool off for a while.

I can't believe my little baby girl is graduating to High School. Make me feel so old. She looked gorgeous.

For our 2nd Year Anniversary, Trent and I went to Skamania Lodge. It wasn't the best weather, but that didn't keep us from hiking and having fun. We hiked Beacon Rock. Trent loved finding rocks that were climbable and I met a friend (a chipmunk) at the top of the rock that wanted to share my apple.

The ZOO: We stopped by the zoo before we headed up to Skamania Lodge. We hadn't been for a while, it was fun seeing all the new animals they had gotten.

Last weekend Trent and I made our way up to Gresham for friends and family time. Yay!!!!

Later on Saturday we celebrated my mommy's 5oth Birthday. Lots of friends were invited for cake and pizza (the best two things).

Spring Break at the Beach!!!!

It has been a long time, sorry. But our lives at the moment are pretty boring. Just work and school for us. But a few weeks ago Trent and I made our way to the Beach the last days of Spring Break. This short vacation was much needed. We met up with my mom and Natalie at Cannon Beach for some shopping and lunch. Since it was such a nice day we were able to go to a couple beaches; Cannon Beach, Hug Point, and Indian Beach. We go to the beach atleast two times a year, but always seem to find new places to go and have lots of fun.

Trent and Becky Update: It has been our 1 year Anniversary living in Salem. It seems like it has gone fast...i think. I am still working as a nanny for an adorable 1 year old boy that keeps me busy. I am done taking classes...until the fall. Trent is maga full time in school and very busy. All he does is study study study.

Valentines Day

I love Valentines Day because I get to eat whatever the heck I want with no guilt...well maybe a little. So that is exactly what we did. I have been craving a burger from Red Robyn for 3 months and finally got it. Yummy!!!! We went to dinner and a movie (Valentines Day, which was really cute) on friday night because Trent had shift on saturday. Trent got me beautiful flowers and a little candy and I made Trent some cookies and candy. Trent came home sunday morning sick, so all of sunday and monday I nursed him back to health...now I'm sick. So...I have learned that weekends that you dream about for weeks and weeks never turn out the way you want. Oh well.

So I totally forgot to take pictures on Christmas morning. When you are having so much fun you forget about stupid things like pictures. Maybe that will be my new years resolution, to take more pictures. We spent the morning at Trent's mom's house then over to my mom's for more presents and lots of food. Thank you to all who gave us gifts of every and any kind we love them all. Trent and I are starting to notice how much we don't really want or need gifts, so next year don't stress over a gift. We are having a great time with family and friends, but soon it will be over and I will be sad. It snowed today so more pictures will be posted soon of our fun in the snow. Till then.

Utah!!!

It has been forever, I'm sorry. Work and school have been hated and crazy, but now it is Christmas Break and ahhhh relaxation...kind of. A few weeks ago Trent and I headed to Utah for Trent's mission companion's wedding. Congratulations Shawn and Telley! The wedding was beautiful and Trent had a blast talking with mission friends.

An extra benefit in going to Utah was staying with my bestest friend Sarah and her husband Adam. We hadn't seen each other since Trent and my wedding, a year and a half ago.

On Saturday night we went to temple square to see the Christmas Lights. Tip to all those who don't think like me, don't go to see the lights on the last saturday before Christmas...crazy busy. But it was super fun walking around in the cold with friends (mandy, mike, troy, and alex) and drinking hot chocolate.

Fall is Here

Fall is here and that means the start of Holidays and decorations. I love the Fall with all the beautiful colors, cold nights, and cuddle time.

In September I (along with Trent, Trevor, and Maggie) ran in Portland's Race For The Cure. I loved training for it and thought I did I pretty good job with my time. Both my Great Grandma and Grandma are and were Breast Cancer Survivors.

We just had to sneak one more vacation in before the summer was over. We made our way to the beach for Labor Day weekend. It was nice and relaxing walking the beaches taking pictures while Trent explored on rocks, working on crafts, and curling up with my hubby and watching tons of FRIENDS and movies. Just to catch you up on our oh so amazing life... This summer has been fun, full of little vacations to the beach, the ranch in eastern Oregon, and many weekends in Gresham. It seems we are up in Gresham every weekend and I wonder to myself 'why did we move to Salem?' Well school starts back up in two weeks and hopefully we will get more on a schedule. I will be working full time as a nanny for an adorable 6 month old boy and also taking a few classes. Trent is back to ultimate full time at school for fire fighting. We have one more year!!!! Yay!!! Hopefully he can transfer some credits to Portland so that he can get his Paramedic up there instead of staying for another 8 months in Salem. Cross your fingers!!!

The Ranch

I think it has been two weeks since we went to the ranch and now I am finally getting the photos on here. Sorry. It was a nice couple of days of relaxation with swimming, tanning, and shopping. We can't wait to go back again as soon as possible. I was lucky enough only to suffer from my infamous allergies for one night, so this marked my first time happy and healthy at the ranch. I loved it!!!

Trent and I went on an impromptu trip to the beach last weekend with some family and friends. It was such a good break from the hot weather here. The high was around 70 and very foggy, I loved it. We flew planes and kites on the beach and ate yummy pizza. It was a good weekend.

Since we have no AC, Trent and I spent the last week at the river trying to cool down in the 100 degree weather. I love Oregon because it is full of rivers and lakes to play in during our only 1 week a year of hotness. My mom gave us an ice cream maker and I have had a fun time experimenting with flavors and Trent has had a fun time eating it all. It really helped last week trying to stay cool.

Oh how I love a farm! The ability to walk out your door and be steps away from fresh fruits, veggies, and flowers. We are not blessed with this at the moment, but Trent's mother is and we are counting down the days... probably years until we can have the same. We love visiting her and living on a farm for a couple days enjoying the fruits of HER labor.

Since we have moved down to Salem I haven't had a job (don't worry I have one now, but don't start till August). So I have been bored out of my mind and have been thinking of new craft projects that I can do to keep busy. As most of you know I am in love with photography and am learning new things everyday. I have used the photos that I have taken to create photo blocks. It is a new modern way to display pictures in your home rather then always having them in frames. I adhere printed photos to wooden blocks that have been painted. You can hang them from the wall with either a ribbon or a hook on the back. You can also simply stand it up on a desk or table. Take a look at the ones I have done already and tell me what you think. I thought it would be a good business along with photography after I graduate and am a mom.

These are pictures adhered to sheets of metal with metal wire twisted together enabling you to hang the artwork anywhere you please. Ribbon could also be used.

Fun 4th

So we went up to Gresham for the 4th of July. Trent went Wheelin' all day with the boys while I helped my mom with flowers for a wedding. Later we went to Trent's mom's house for a bar-b- que and fireworks with the whole Johnson family, well almost all of them. It was super fun seeing and talking to everyone.

I noticed that I wasn't in any of the pictures. It's kind of hard to get into a picture when you are always the one taking them. I will try next time to sneak into one some how.

New Job!!!

Well, it has been a while since my last post, sorry. Trent and I usually go up to Gresham on the weekends to visit family and are gone. Well, now we have to stay home on the weekends because Trent and I got called to be nursery leaders for 15 kids. Oh joy! They didn't know I have been in the nursery for the past 3 years and am a nanny so maybe it wont be too long till they call us to something else.

I have also found a job!!!! Finally! Of course it is a nanny job with a cute little 5 month old boy here in Salem. I was really lucky to find such a nice family who also pay well. I start full time in August and am really excited. I love babies.

I am taking a break from school for the summer, but Trent is going full time loving his medical classes and being on shift at the station. It is such a relief that Trent loves his school and future career as a Fire Fighter.

So, it has been forever. Sorry! I have been gone these last two weekends up in Gresham.

1. Health. Oh my goodness asthma sucks, especially when you don't know that is why you can't breathe.

3. Nice weather. I could do with it being only 80 but at least its not cold.

4. Planet Earth and Blue Planet. So educational.

5. Friend's weddings. Kevin got married last week and it was so fun being with all our friends who have moved away.

Silver Falls

I finally got the pictures on the computer from Silver Falls. More then a week ago, trent and I went to silver falls on a 10 mile hike through almost 10 different water falls. It was HOT, but still very beautiful. Every chance Trent had he would be climbing on things and getting as close to the water falls as possible. I guess he will never grow up. That could be a good thing though

Top Five!!!

Wow, I think this will be hard, only because I have a paper due tomorrow and I am in a bad mood because of it.

1. Temples. Trent and I went to the temple with some friends yesterday and it was way fun. It makes time fly by when you have someone you know sitting next to you.

2. Jogging. I hate waking up for it, but it feels sooooo incredibly awesome afterwards.

3. The internet. It's horrible when you misuse it, but such a blessing for job searches and research for classes.

4. Waxing. Ladies need I say more?

5. Our Earth. Yes go ahead and call me a tree hugging hippy, I don't care. Wednesday was earth day and Oprah's show was awesome. It made me cry, think, and hate myself. I don't want to be preachy, but people need to think about everything they do from showering, cleaning, eating, to buying things that in reaction hurt our environment, animals and in turn us. It is scary.

1. Good gas mileage! I just got 40 miles to the gallon last week. Awesome!!!

2. Sherbet ice cream. Yummy!!!

3. Tans. However you get them; from the sun, lamps, or a spray. I love them all.

4. Walks with my hubby. Trent and I went on a really long walk down to the river today and skipped rocks. I got 8 skips, oh ya!!!

5. Naps!!!! They always make you feel better.

Tulip Festival!!!

Trent and I went to the Woodburn Tulip Festival this week. They said the season is a week behind so it isn't at it's "wow" factor. It was still beautiful. It was fun getting out and walking around. I guess they have a photo contest. Should I send a pic in? Which one? Oh, the color after downloading it sucks, so think of the it alot more vibrant.

We went to look for a backpack for Trent at Ross yesterday and of course I wandered into the purse section and found this adorable purse that I wanted for the summer time. Trent asked if I really needed it because we don't have jobs and we need to be good with our money. Man I hate it when he is responsible and right. So, I put it back and was sad. I was surprised this morning after I got out of the shower with the purse and a note that said "happy ten months' on the bed. He went and got it after his morning class. I am the luckiest girl in the world to have such a wonderful husband. I love you Trent.

Trent's Birthday!!!

On Friday April 10th it was Trent's 23rd Birthday. Man he is getting old. It was an awesome day, I felt like it was my birthday too. The day before I went to the Britney Spears concert with Tait (his sister) and didn't get back until 4am. It was all the way up in Tacoma, WA. I'll never do that again. Well unless it is Brad Paisely (Yummy). So, I got to sleep in till 10 or 11 and it felt great. After Trent's classes we went to Olive Garden to eat and it was sooooo delicious. Here is a great tip, if it is really busy (we would have had to wait 45 minutes) ask to sit in the bar area and you get right in. We were out before we would have gotten in. We went home and watched a movie and had birthday cake. I made Trent an ice cream cake with a turtle on top. That is the only turtle I could find and it is scarey as heck. hahaha!!!! It was a good day!!!

So, my bestest of best friends (Sarahray) does a top 10 every week on her blog and I absolutely love it. I am going to steal that idea, but only do 5 things. I tried to think of ten things, but I couldn't do it and wondered how in the heck can Sarah do this each week. Then it hit me, she is a writer, duh!!!! She can write anything and everything in like 5 minutes. It is a true talent and I will be envious forever. Anyways so here it goes, my top 5 things I love and am grateful for this week. Maybe someday I will work up to 10.

1. iPod's. Running is soooooo boring. If it wasn't for my Mamma Mia and Britney on my pink iPod I wouldn't be able to do my measly run every morning.

2. Birthdays. Trent's was on friday and mine was last saturday. Having a whole day to be all about you is awesome.

3. Tape. Last night our toilet broke, it was the plug thing in the back tank. Thankfully tape was the fix, at least for today.

4. Husbands that cook. Trent sometimes comes into the kitchen when I am cooking and starts to help, but then takes over which is totally fine with me!

5. Chocolate Cadbury Eggs. The little ones. I got them for Trent for Easter, but of course I ate them too. Yum

I think either Trent or I, or both have gone back to Gresham at least once a week since we have moved down to Salem. It is teasing me. I love Gresham and being close to family, living in the country, hearing our duckies quack, and watching my Riley (the baby boy I watched). I have pictures all around our house in calendars, on magnet boards, computer backgrounds that I took of our home in Gresham. I thought I would let everyone see how beautiful our home is. And hopefully I will find more places that are just as beautiful down here in Salem.

Welcome to Salem

This is our second week down in Salem (we are actually in Keizer, but it's basically the same thing). We are on the out skirts of keizer with farms and nurseries right down the street and we love it ( it reminds us of home). We also have a hiking trail around the corner. Last sunday we went walking there because it's sunday and there is nothing else to do. We ended up at the Willamette skipping rocks and watching two Bald Eagles flying around the river. It's beautiful, but not quite home.

So Trent and I are huge animal lovers, but we are unable to have big ones like cats and dogs at our apartment in Salem. I have two cats and ducks at home and trent has a turtle, so we had to pick the turtle. Her name is Broadway, 17 years old and beautiful. She took a bath today and loved it and walked around checking out her new digs.
